This explains what Slidr collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible, and it describes what the product does today.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, your name if you give one, and a hashed password.
- Content you create or upload: decks, and the spreadsheets, documents and logos you bring. This is your material; we store it so the product works.
- Usage records: for each AI call, which workspace made it, which feature, which model, how many tokens and what it cost. This is what your plan’s allowance is measured against, and it is shown back to you on your billing page.
- Operational logs: timing, error codes and identifiers. These carry ids only — not deck contents, and not email addresses.
- Page analytics: which pages get visited, from roughly where, and on what kind of device. This is measured by our hosting provider through an endpoint on this domain — not a third-party tracking script — and it sets no cookie and stores no identifier in your browser. Counting unique visitors uses a value derived from your IP address and browser that the provider discards within a day; we never receive your IP address ourselves, and none of this is joined to your account.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not track you across other sites, and there is no cookie banner because the only cookie set is the one that keeps you signed in.
Who it is shared with
Only the services needed to run Slidr:
- Anthropic — for AI drafting and copilot suggestions. Your content is not used to train models. See Security for exactly how much of a document the model is shown, which is less than you would expect.
- Our hosting, database and object-storage providers — to run the application and store your files.
- Our merchant of record — to take payment and issue invoices. They receive your billing details directly; we never see your card.
- Our email provider — to send verification and password-reset messages.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. If we are ever legally compelled to hand something over, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Content stays until you delete it or close your account. Deleting a deck removes it. Closing your account removes your decks, uploads and account record; backups age out on their own schedule, within 30 days. Usage and billing records are kept longer where required for accounting.
Your choices
- Get a copy: ask and we will export your decks and uploads.
- Correct it: your account details are editable in the app.
- Delete it: ask and we will delete your account and its content.
- Object or restrict: if you are in a jurisdiction that grants those rights, they apply to you here.
Self-service export and account deletion are being built. Until they ship, email us and a human will do it.
Children
Slidr is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your content is handled, we will say so by email rather than by quietly changing the date at the top.
