Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Slidr. Using the service means you accept them. They are written in plain language on purpose; where that costs precision, the intent is what governs.

Your content is yours

You keep every right in the decks you build and the files you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store your content, process it, show it back to you, render your exports, and serve it to anyone you share a link with.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not use it to promote Slidr without asking you first.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think it has been compromised. You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

What you may not do

• Upload content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful.
• Try to reach another workspace’s data, or probe the service for weaknesses without telling us (see Security for how to report something).
• Resell the service or run it as your own product, or use it to generate material designed to deceive people.
• Work around plan limits — sharing one account across a team, or scripting sign-ups to multiply free allowances.

Plans and payment

• New workspaces get 14 days of Pro with no payment details. It lapses to the free plan on its own.
• Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled — monthly or annually, as chosen. Cancel from the billing portal at any time and you keep the paid plan until the period you have already paid for ends. We do not pro-rate part-months.
• Payment is handled by a merchant of record, who is the seller of record and applies their own terms at checkout. Prices exclude tax unless stated; the merchant handles tax where it applies.
• Ask within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it.
• We may change prices, with notice by email before it affects you. A price change never applies to a period already paid for.

Ending it

You can stop and delete your account whenever you want. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would be unlawful.

If you drop to the free plan, you keep access to the decks you already made — they stay editable, exportable and shareable. Plan limits govern new work, never work already done. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give notice and time to export.

Availability, and the honest limits

We work to keep Slidr running and to keep your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without warranties. There is no uptime guarantee on any plan today. Keep your own copies of anything critical — good practice with any hosted tool, and specifically true here.

Slidr helps you build documents; it does not check that they are correct. The audit gate blocks figures that are not traceable to the sources you provided, which is not the same as certifying that your sources are right or that a deck is fit for its purpose. Decisions made from a deck remain yours.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and, if they matter, email you before they take effect. Continuing to use Slidr afterwards means accepting them.
